I'm a "terror"

tank myself. And can solo Ice Wastes, Chaos Planes, Bone Pits & Spawning Pools. (And while my opinion is definitely biased), I believe any ectos I get while doing that belong to me as I'm doing all the work for them after all. And it's not like the build is super-easy to run, as one mistake probably means instant death.

And like others have said I could always just get some heroes to get me past the Aatxes if I wanted to.

Now what I really want to know is - what are these 30 min UW clears I'm hearing about

? 30 mins to complete all the quests AND clear all the areas?

Someone please enlighten me here - as it typically takes up to 30 mins just to do the smites run alone...

check the farming/campfire section of the forums for more info. Several builds and techniques for it atm.

It helps alot with the time.

the one thing I want the terras to do is bring a con set. no reason for the ursans to supply all the cons. It should be 1 ursan with con and 1 terra with con.

Pug hard mode, ursan+terra+hb monks with cons running as fast as they can=40 min run (guild team with cons and everyone knows exactly what they are doing can hit it out in 30.)

most Pugged Hard mode UW runs take 45-70 mins

check this page as well which has the fastest times for all elite areas. fastest HM Underworld clear so far is 27mins and that was with mistakes

(Most) Terra's and (Most) Monks dont bring cons because they are needed for the mission. All other classes are expendable.

Try a UW clear with no monks or ele's and see what your success rate drops to.

But with the profit the terras make in the run, it's only fair for them to bring one conset. Monks don't take cons because they're needed and they have to share their drops with the ursans...that and they work harder than the ursans at the same time. I HB UW ALL THE TIME and I've actually taken cons twice, so don't call me greedy or lazy.

OK. i dont know weather i should post a way to do UW without terra tanks or not. very valid points on both sides. BUT if you dont like terra tanks, get inventive, and dispose of them. there are ways.. several that i know of.
and yes alomst as fast to clea all 10 quests. i wont post, because then that class will become the next hated class. but HINT HINT!

terras earn thier keep with the work they do.

Terras can also afford the cons.

and clown can run a terra once you get used to it.

I don't think I've gotten 24 ectos in my life time... And I'd never seen 24 drop in one run... Once we didn't get ANY ectos (though we didn't do any quests, we cleared all non-quest enemies in UW)...

You go ahead and take only the terra and hb monks let me know how long it takes, let alone if you even finish.

the ursans need the monks and the ursans+monks need the terra to speed things up.

The ursans can still do it without the terras. so the terra is the expendable char.

this is a pug discussion not a guild team or exp players.

I stand by my statement.

of course a people can do it faster but again this is about pugs

and the average pug is well a pug lol.

2Terra + 1 monk can solo the entire uw. It may be slow, but it can be done
And the terra is needed for the horsemen.
Last I checked a team of Ursans and monks will get slaughtered trying to do a 4 man split on the horsemen quest.
